Tuxedo was originated in the US around 1888. It was named after Tuxedo Park, a Hudson Valley enclave for New York's social elite where it was often seen in its early years. Since that time tuxedos have been reserved for the most special ceremonious events and occasions.
In any way most of the attention is usually placed on the bride and her wedding dress, but groom should find an ideal tuxedo that makes him feel good and comfortable. After all, all eyes will be on him as well.
The choice in the men’s wedding wear industry is not as huge as in women’s one, but there’s also a ton of good pieces to be found. The decision to go with a tuxedo style or no comes down to the basic formality of the event. For sure it’s an ideal look for wedding ceremony. But even being a groom doesn’t oblige you to wear black and white. Every formalwear atelier has tuxedos in a huge number of colors from gray to lavender. Add little bit creativity and you will create an ideal palette for your wedding day.
But be carefully with bright colors. If bride’s look is a bit more subdued, better to reconsider. Because bright color will be distracting for the wedding setting.
