They say you can’t put a price on love but you surely can put a price, a hefty price, on a wedding. If you can’t afford an elopement alone on the Caribbean seashore, what can you do?
1. The first thing that comes to my mind would be to rent a banquet hall and have a party in there. Renting a small hall or venue somewhere in a county usually is pretty cheap and some of them come with catering included, which is just great. You can check them out here: Wherewedding Venues (It is also a good idea to try and make the venue as close to your place of residence as possible).
2. This might seem a bit cruel but minimize the list of guests to your Family and closest friends/relatives. The less guests you have, the less money you must spend to cater to everyone.
3. An another way you can spare some money is to buy a second hand wedding dress because after all, it needs nothing more than some time in the laundry and it’s as good as new.
4. What you can do as well is buying a fake engagement ring. Do not worry its okay, the prices of these are outrageous.
5. Plan your wedding for winter, since it has the lowest rate of wedding inquiries in comparison to the entire year.
6. Order your wedding for either Friday or Sunday, it’s typically better to do so then on Saturday, most of the time it’s the most occupied day of the week.
7. For lighting, you can use paper lanterns, those are extremely cost efficient.
There are many more tips online, but I hope these helped you out a little bit!
