Villa Gitana

Villa Gitana has a nearly thirty-year history behind it, starting in July 1987 with Procolo Babbo and his wife Emma, who fell in love with their birthplace, decided to create a company called Casablanca, where they could taste the products of their lands.

Villa Gitana is situated in a fortunate position, surrounded by greenery, on the basin of the crater of Lake D'Averno, in an agricultural area unknown to most and endowed with a breathtaking view.

Born as a restaurant, Villa Gitana immediately began to be frequented by numerous loyal guests, enchanted by the attention of the owners and by the flavours of the products cooked with care.

The family-run company immediately availed itself of the help of their sons Rosa , Tommaso , Nunzia and Antonio , who grew up in the small family restaurant and who, even after the premature death of their father Procolo and then of their mother Emma, took they lovingly dedicated to the small company, inheriting the same passion that had animated their dear parents.

Over the years the restaurant had such a success that it became more and more a reference point for gourmets who, from near and far, came to discover this little corner of paradise.

Hence the decision to transform the small restaurant into a Villa, which has hosted unforgettable weddings and ceremonies for about fifteen years.

With commitment and devotion, the current owners have managed to grow a unique company, whose strength, even more than the beauty of the place or the delight of the dishes, is the dedication with which they have worked to carry out this project.

Learning to buy the most delicious products in the nearby and most famous fish market in Pozzuoli, specializing in the art of cooking , taking care of a winery capable of enhancing the centuries-old grapes inherited from generations and giving life to Falanghine, Piedirossi and Spumanti Successful DOC, expanding the spaces of their company, renewing their style and taking care of their elegance, enhancing the unique landscapes, Rosa, Tommaso, Nunzia and Antonio, have succeeded in realizing the dream: to create a little corner of paradise .
