The Palazzo al Borgo di Corliano is a villa situated near coast of Tuscany, central Italy, in the valley between Lucca and Pisa, 2 kilometres from the Spa town of San Giuliano Terme. It is one of the numerous villas that built by the Pisan merchants as summer houses, along the fertile west slopes of Mount Pisano.
The Villa Agostini Venerosi della Seta of Corliano Is a Villa of the fifteenth century, the exterior is decorated with graffiti dating back 1500 and which are typical of Florentine Mannerist Art. Inside the salons of the Villa frescoes by Andrea Boscolo (1592) and Nicola Matraini (1750) can be admired. Villa Agostini is part of a larger monumental complex composed of a Chapel, a Farmhouse (designed by Ignazio Pellegrini in 1755), an oil Mill, a Kaffeehaus and a Park of huge fascination of about 3 hectares which counts some secular plants and which is enclosed within the Villa's walls. Villa of Corliano is recognized as one of the most prestigious Renaissance villas in Tuscany.
The Farmhouse (All’ Ussero Osteria & Co.) and the Wineries (All' Ussero Coffee & Co.) are used today for dining activities.
The restaurant is located on the ground floor of the Farmhouse, built in 1755 by Ignazio Pellegrini who was often called to paint the facades of the many old country houses in the surrounding area. It is possible to dine in outdoor spaces arranged in the park as well.
Quite a few people can be hosted in our restaurant in an environment which is very peaceful, family administrated and respectful for local culinary traditions.
The hall of the Villa, completely frescoed, is available for banquets, parties, receptions and events. The old fifteenth century’s salt Cellars, the eighteenth century’s Farmhouse and the secular Park can host such events as well. Everyone can reserve such spaces (or them all!) for a whole day or just few hours. It is possible to rent the Gentile Chapel as well (50 seats - a reserved and quiet Christian church) in order to be able to celebrate the rite of civil and religious marriage within the villa.
