Podere Calvaiola

Podere Calvaiola is a traditional Tuscan Farmhouse close to the town of Volterra and the lovely Casaglia abbey and near the sea. This charming farm is surrounded by 100 acres of farmland creating a private and calm environment. Podere Calvaiola is the perfect place to relax and make memories of the beauty all around. This Villa is a lovely place to host a stylish and intimate wedding.

  Inside you can use the eighteenth-century hall finely restored and furnished with the style that is characteristic of Calvaiola, combining antique furniture with design objects, sculptures, objects, or modern furnishings. You can set up the Welcome area while enjoying a drink with your guests in front of the fantastic view of our Infinity Pool. The internal capacity of the room is 85 people while outside it is 150 people. The enchanting location of Calvaiola will allow you to create a wedding with a magical atmosphere. We are at your disposal to organize both very intimate ceremonies and with numerous guests, with the help of the best professionals in the sector in Tuscany. In the structure, activities before and after the wedding such as pizza parties, picnics with a view of our vineyard, cooking class, and visits to the area are also possible on request.

  We are 25 minutes from the medieval Burg of Volterra most famous for the working of alabaster and the "Volterra gusto” fair on truffles(in October). Inside the Podere Calcaiola, you can use the swimming pool and hydromassage-air massage. On the Farm, there is no internal Restaurant so we use external catering. The married couple is free to bring the suppliers they wish. The Farm has 23 beds and the exclusive rental rate as an event space always includes the entrance to all the apartments (5 apartments + two double bedrooms), almost all with a private terrace overlooking the Tuscany countryside.

  Around Calvaiola there are various accommodation facilities to place other guests and we ourselves own two other apartments in another farmhouse with a swimming pool which is located one kilometer from Podere Calvaiola; one with 6 beds, the other with 3 beds. 

The exclusive rental is: 

€ 3.900,00 + vat 10 % for 1 night 

€ 6.200,00 + vat 10 % for 2 night 

€ 7.300,00 + vat 10 % for 3 night 

+ € 500,00 final cleaning cost.
