Leave Castres and take the winding road through the beautiful, rolling countryside to the Haut Languedoc Regional Park. At the top of the road, you’ll come across the breathtaking view across the meadow stretching all the way to the château, as it’s known locally, a manor house with a 19th-century exterior in a lush rural setting, a haven of peace and tranquillity.
Come in and see the interior, renovated in the original 18th century-style, then go for a walk along the paths we’ve redesigned. A few yards away, in the former farmhouse, whose pediment dates back to 1868, we’ve maintained the original farm style by using materials we found on-site. Then wander into the kitchen garden and see what vegetables will be on the set menu tonight for dinner.
