In their texts Montigo Rim deal with the beauty and complexity of the human emotional world. The female singers of the soulband tell stories of growing up, of self-determination and the everyday challenges of life.
The Berlin live band's high-energy sound features polyphonic lead vocals, virtuoso saxophone passages and groovy live arrangements. Their repertoire consists of original compositions, as well as hand-picked soul covers from various genres. The rousing live show moves with soulful, upbeat soul songs to contemporary R&B jazz ballads. Driven by a wide range of musical and artistic influences, Montigo Rim is leaving their audience drowning in a pool of buzzing excitement and bittersweet sentiment.
The singers of the band have already been on stage together with greats like Kat Frankie, Zoe Wees, Bosse and Sarah Connor. The band members also show their musical range in their solo projects LÆN, DALEE and Antonio Hoffmann
