I love art, i love photography, I love travel, beaches, trees and the way light hits people and objects. i love being around people, celebrating with them, hearing their stories and seeing their smiles.I love music and dancing. I love Love.
So this is the ideal job for me. I originally came from an art and design background, both studying and teaching design, and using a camera was a part of that. I would be taking photos as a hobby if I wasnt doing it as a career. The more photos I took, the more people asked me to take photos for them, and here I am, over 15 years later being able to travel the country, and sometimes the world, taking photos. Ive been incredibly fortunate to photograph weddings in Santorini, Ibiza, France, Sweden, Crete, Cyprus and all over the UK.
I am not really one for entering competitions, awards, or paying to be on preferred supplier lists, I would sooner have my photos speak for themselves. I guess that is the artist in me wanting my work itself to have the voice, although that work has appeared in nearly all the national newspapers, magazines such as Vogue Italia, Rock and Roll Bride, Hello, OK and a number of photography magazines, some which I have written columns for.
That being said, I am always learning, always pushing for that next great image, that next beautiful photo that captures a couples emotions and love perfectly.
I want to photograph your wedding. I want to be there to listen to the story of how you got together. I want to see the tears and the smiles and the laughter. I want to be on the dancefloor photographing some great, and possibly also slightly dodgy dancing. I would love to photograph your love.
