     Hi and thank you for stopping by! My name is Sheri and I am a wedding and portrait photographer based in La Zenia. This is situated between Alicante and Murcia on the Costa Blanca in Spain. I am available for destination wedding shoots as well.

     I have been a professional wedding photographer for 13 years now. I was born and raised in Amsterdam, Holland. I married my soulmate and moved to sunny Spain 14 years ago. Together we have two gorgeous boys called Luca and Joshua. I love our family time and spending time with friends on some of the breath taking beaches that the Costa Blanca has to offer.

     Capturing a bride and groom’s wedding day is an absolute honor. As a photographer I am able to shoot wedding photographs that the wedding couple will cherish forever. For most of my bride and grooms, their weddings are destination weddings because they live abroad. It can be hard living abroad and finding the best wedding venue for your wedding as well as the right wedding vendors. There are so many lovely wedding venues to find here on the Costa and making the right choice might be hard but don’t hesitate asking  for referrals because working in the wedding industry means having a large wedding network.

     I have a photo journalistic style of photography and love to follow your day and capture beautiful photos for example taking pictures of special moments that you might have missed. I think the best wedding photos, or any photo for that matter, are photos that are taken spontaneously. Candid photos without people knowing or posing are the best because they look their best when they don’t realize they are being photographed.

     Of course we do schedule time on the wedding day for the official group photos that are staged and posed but we will keep this nice and short. We will also play around with the bridal party if you are up for it.
