     Hello, my name is Raquel and I am 29 years old. Originally I come from the tropical and colourful Costa Rica, but love brought me to Switzerland a few years ago. In this context I left my career as a journalist behind me and decided to follow my true passion, photography, in 2014. Ever since I have photographed weddings, families, couples, catalogues and much more; in places I could have only dreamed of.

     Since I can remember, I was always the girl who kept memories in boxes: Love letters, postcards, pictures - I delight in the art of memory collection. My heart flutters for nostalgic photographs that hold the power to revive a moment in time.

     My style is romantic, influenced by the classic and raw look of film photography. My husband and I, both travelling and coffee fans, work as a team and understand now more than ever the value of shooting with multiple perspectives⁠—this is what we like to call “Storytelling Style”. We love working with kind, fun, creative couples who are not afraid to show that they are in love.

    The philosophy behind the lens is to evoke real feelings, capture beauty, emotions, keep it natural, chic and use beautiful daylight as the tools to tell the story of each wedding. This is the compass that drives me when I photograph: knowing that these memories will be cherished for many years to come, I believe every story like yours is unique and worthy to be told extraordinarily.
