  I am an Irish documentary photographer that specializes in wedding photography and family portrait photography. Michael O Farrell is the guy behind it. That’s me. Based in Cork city, I primarily, I cover weddings all over Munster, mainly in Cork, Kerry, and Waterford. However, I also love traveling for weddings all over Ireland and beyond.   How does a documentary wedding photographer approach your wedding day? As the day unfolds I will capture all the unique moments as they happen. During the day, I will try to be as unobtrusive as I can and still get close enough to capture all the emotions of the day. Each wedding is different and I try to capture all the energy and flow of the day as it unfolds.

  My style will suit a couple that is not big into posing for photographs. Above all, I am not a pushy wedding photographer that will be ordering you about on the day. Your wedding day is a very special day in your life and you will want to spend as much time as you can with your friends and family. Hiring a documentary photographer will give you this time. Most importantly, you will get natural and great wedding photographs that you can cherish forever.

  If you are planning a vintage retro wedding, a smaller civil ceremony, a church wedding, an Irish castle wedding, or an alternative wedding, my style of wedding photography will suit them all.
